Sandarsika: was an initiative with the objective of grooming girls primarily from rural areas and the aim of the programme is to create better employability in Tier II cities/ smaller towns/ villages. The project focuses on personality development, self defense and good communication skills. Now the selected girls are being imparted with advance training programs of Self Defense, communication skills and computer training. The training program held in collaboration with Educomp Foundation, PRAYAS, Sangatt, Bird Academy & NANAK with the objective of grooming girls primarily from rural areas and per-urban spaces with tools of becoming navigators. The project included innovative curriculum which focuses on personality development, self defense and good communication skills which are integral to any employable skill with focus on tourism since it is driven as an assessment that this would promote not only Indian heritage but also boost local economy with greater participation of girl and women in public spaces.
