5 the May 2019 was a day of celebration for Jaitapur vaishpur village and Sai Social Responsibility & research centre when two of its GCEAP: Girl child education adoption program beneficiaries of 6 years crossed school stage with first division and came up with willingness to carry on with their higher education to realise their dreams with our support.
Anchal , though opted to remain in government school ,she had been quite regular in computer classes , English speaking classes , Self defence ,dance classes and also with all supportive programs of SSRRC.She grew up with our dream and philosophy of “ Educate one girl, educate the nation”. Her confidence ; self esteem and decision making ability leaped and saw no boundary, precisely the change in the girl was phenomenal. We were compelled to take her as our poster girl of many videos as she reminds every rural girl, women that if you want , you can ......... everyone can make a difference| Anchal received 64.6 % but she opened a new gate for many deserving and needy girls like herself for higher education as a dream come true project with support of SSRRC.As a reward , Sai Social Responsibility & Research centre changed it’s mandate of GCEAP ,i.e supporting and providing holistic development programs to girls from rural areas who are deserving and needy.We decided to carry forward the support and bursaries and programs around a particular girl child who comes out with flying colours and ready for the real world challenges . So, Anchal has been given career advices and support to go to do something which shall ensure her future does not end up in making only breads or cow dung fritters like her sister. She shall be doing 5 yrs integrated course of B.AL.L.B which can make her the first women lawyer of the region.#herewego@SSRRC@JaitpurVillage
Nikita,another girl from the village and beneficiary of GCEAP program of SSRRC had been quite a good and consistent performer who opted to go to an English medium school . She made use of each of SSRRC supportive programs build around holistic development of a girl child and came out as a winner. In her journey of 6 years with us , she became a leader and an exemplary of the girls in the village. She not only scored 76.4% , one of the highest any girl from the village scored till date, but also compelled us to modify our charter of helping such promising rural talents to help them further realising their dreams rather ending up in early marriage proposition of the families in Jaitapur.She shall also be doing 5 yrs integrated course of B.AL.L.B which can make her the first women lawyer of the region.#herewego@SSRRC@JaitpurVillage
This episode of felicitating these two girls for their outstanding performance and achievements on 5 the May 2019 at Jaitapur village shall encourage the girls of the village to build up their higher aspirations and to dream big. As we fondly follow the saying of our learned superhero our beloved Pesident Shri APJ Kalam : “ Dream big to achieve big”.
