Nari Shakti”: For imparting skills and facilitating a life of dignity and pride, SSRRC launched a vocational center in Jaitpur Village and trained over 80 women about tailoring, candle making, beauty and hair cutting. As first Women Empowerment Program we launched Vocational Training Centre–“Nari Shakti” for village women in collaboration with VLCC. We also conducted four months certification course in Beauty and wellness, Tailoring and stitching to the rural women of Jaitpur. Some of them started with their own tailoring unit from home and some got connected with neighboring boutiques and hotel for small supplies as napkins etc. After visible changes, we started with another skilling programs for the village women as Garland making, paper bag making and cloth bag making training sessions to begin a journey towards financial independence. April 16th the first SHG group products were completely sold out and they got their second order as well.
